My Purpose in Life and in Work
“I believe I was put here on this planet to give people a different perspective, and offer them a way to deeply understand themselves and the world around them.”
My story
Growing up on a farm in a rural area gave me the opportunity to witness the natural world around me, and to learn how to listen without the use of words.
I have always been extremely sensitive, and full of questions - this allowed me to develop a deeply intuitive mind but also opened me up to feeling and absorbing the emotions around me, making it confusing at times, believing I was at fault somehow for how people felt, or that I had a responsibility to make it right.
I spent a lot of time alone, or with animals because it was less overwhelming to just feel the rhythms of nature. I didn’t know it at the time, but this was the beginning of developing my keen observation skills that have given me many of the beautiful insights and powerful gifts that I have today.
Divine Intervention
Growing up on a farm heavily influenced my fascination for anatomy and physiology, as well as learning to develop wisdom around the process of the scientific method and critical thinking.
This heavily influenced my decision to go into the medical field. At the same time, I began studying Western medicine, I also began my spiritual practice with yoga and meditation. As I began to greatly expand my awareness of both Eastern and Western philosophies, I began to see how connected they were, rather than divided.
When it came time to enter the next level of my degree, I began to panic. Something overcome me and I intuitively knew I couldn’t go into nursing. Instead, I felt strongly pulled to apply to the school for acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Once I began to study the 5 Elements, it was a no-brainer….
A new path emerges
I began to see the personality types and health patterns of random people walking down the street.
I had a clear vision of seeing and FEELING what was wrong with people - physically, mentally, and emotionally. And I quickly began to realize, not everyone had this natural ability for it like I did.
In school, I would get my tests finished faster than everyone, and my grades rarely dipped below A’s. While in school, and after graduating, I kept studying - kept searching for more truths, more knowledge, more information, to keep piecing together the missing parts of the bigger picture.
Once I started practicing medicine, I realized that there wasn’t enough time to teach my patients everything that I had learned over the past 10 years in a 1-hour session - so I developed a new plan
Connecting the dots
Religions and science agree on one thing - we are deeply connected on an energetic, and spiritual, level.
We are at a pivotal moment in time where it is more important now than ever to truly find our way - not the way our parents, our teachers, or our politicians told us - but the way we were destined to live, and who we came here to be.
Corporations, politicians, and pharmaceutical companies have told us that certain things were true, that have turned out to be lies, over and over again.
We owe it to OURSELVES to learn what is true and best for US so that we can live in a state of FREEDOM, passion, joy, and peace. Without them, how much is life worth living?
